    Charlton™ is our family owned Certified Organic and Biodynamic farm in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Our cattle and other farm produce are grown with passion and love for the land. Cattle feed on natural pastures in a comfortable environment that results in nutritious organic and biodynamically grown beef that is delicious!

    When you buy direct from our farm we ensure:

    To order from us:

    1. Fill out an Order Form with your preferred cuts; either sliced, minced, whole for roasting.

    2. Email the form to farmer@coogahharvest.com.au, we will contact you for payment and confirm pickup and delivery details.

    3. Payment is made once the animal is processed. Scheduled payments options are available.

    We work alongside nature to produce naturally balanced soils and pastures that result in healthy livestock and farm produce. We are passionate about regenerative farming practices to continuously improve the whole farm system, focusing on making humus rich, healthy soils, that grow diverse and healthy pastures that our cattle feed on. It is not only making the land sustainable, it's regenerating the land for the future.

     

    Cattle feeding on mixed pastures also enjoy the comforts of a natural stress-free farm environment. The natural ecosystem is supported and improved by closely managing soil, pastures and livestock. That is how we produce nutritious and delicious organic and biodynamically grown beef for you.

  • Questions about your Beef pack

    How do I place an order?

    Choose a beef pack from our Farm Store and download the order form. You choose how you would like it cut and packed.

    Email the order form to farmer@cooghharvest.com.au and we will contact you for payment. Your order is added to a list and once a full animal has been ordered it will be processed. This time varies, we will keep you updated.

    What price is each cut?

    A set price of $21/ kg cwt includes delivery for our bulk beef packs. This is a carcass weight price, and includes all cuts available from the animal from T-Bone and Scotch Fillet to Sausages and Mince. Offal is also available. Bones are optional and they make a healthy soup, beef broth, or dog and chook bones.

    Fresh meat is exclusive of GST.

    How much meat is in each pack?

    A quarter pack weighs a minimum 35kg of beef. A half pack weighs a minimum 70kg of beef. A whole pack weighs on average 150kg of beef. Pack weights vary slightly with each animal grown.

    Packaging

    Each beef cut is labelled and is vacuum packed inside your beef boxes, for extra freshness. Generally 3 to 4 rectangle cardboard boxes (550mm x 350mm x 170mm) are used for the Quarter Pack. Each box can easily be split up for freezing into smaller portions and shared with family, friends and groups.

    Are your sausages gluten free?

    Yes our sausages are gluten free and preservative free! Made by a custom butcher, our sausages made with natural casings are healthy and coeliac friendly.

    Can I pick up my order?

    Our meat is delivered to you. Ask us about picking up your order if you prefer.

    Delivery time and charges?

    Delivery will be arranged for orders outside the Singleton area. Your order is added to the list and when a full animal has been ordered it is processed. This time varies. We will keep you updated with date of pickup/ delivery. Delivery dates vary on your location.

    Is our meat Certified Organic?

    Yes, our beef is Certified Organic with Southern Cross Certified 2023.
